Most Disappointing Player: Andrew Nicholson

Andrew Nicholson had an impressive rookie season in 2012-13, posting 7.8 points per game, bouncing in and out of the starting lineup. Naturally, he was expected to develop further into a quality player this season, but he only showed signs of regression.

His points per game dropped to 5.7, and he was featured less and less in the starting lineup. His minutes per game, however, only dropped by about two minutes, so his drop in production shouldn’t have been as drastic as it was.

Nicholson, the former 19th overall draft pick, was someone who the Magic potentially could have used as someone that could help improve the rebuilding franchise, but after a disappointing 2013-14 season, the future may be bleak for the Nicholson and the Magic.
