Avery Bradley has had an interesting season in Beantown. The Boston Celtics are adjusting to life without Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, and as a result, Bradley has been asked to do more. Bradley’s field goal attempts increased this year, and impressively, his field goal percentage and points per game jumped with it.

In spite of averaging 14.8 points this season, the main reason for signing Bradley is his defense. Bradley is known for being outstanding in both on and off the ball defensive possessions, and frequently picks the pocket of ball-handler’s who have lapses in focus. Although initially drafted as a point guard, Bradley’s four years in the league have turned him into the sort of defensive two guard that the Pistons badly need.
