NEW YORK KNICKS 100, Chicago Bulls 89
The Knicks, fresh off being eliminated from playoff contention on Saturday, snapped Chicago’s seven-game winning streak. Tim Hardaway Jr. had 20 points and three steals for the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith each scored 17 points, Tyson Chandler grabbed 12 rebounds and Cole Aldrich blocked three shots. Jimmy Butler led the Bulls with 17 points and Joakim Noah finished with 13 points, 17 rebounds and nine assists.

BROOKLYN NETS 97, Orlando Magic 88
The Nets went with a bigger lineup and it paid off as Brooklyn held off a late run by Orlando and inched closer to clinching the East’s No. 5 seed. The Nets lead Washington by two games with two to play, but the Wizards own the tiebreaker thanks to a 3-0 sweep of Brooklyn. Mirza Teletovic led the Nets with 20 points, Mason Plumlee finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds, Joe Johnson also scored 17 points, Deron Williams had 16 points and four steals and Paul Pierce went for 10 points and three steals. Tobias Harris had 18 points and three steals for the Magic, who shot 47 percent but turned the ball over 20 times.
