Rounding out the first team All-Rookie roster is Trey Burke of the Utah Jazz. Burke suffered a wrist injury before his first NBA season could be begin and forced him to miss a few weeks of action, but he came back and proved why he was projected to be the starting point guard.

Ranking third among rookies in scoring, second in assists, second in minutes and totaling eight double-doubles (second among rookies) Burke has been great for the Jazz. One thing that could keep Burke from stealing first-place votes for ROY is his sometimes inconsistent shooting numbers, struggling for long stretches at putting the ball in the basket.

Burke’s had a splendid season and has done more than enough to secure his spot on the All-Rookie team, as well as give the Jazz their point guard of the future.
