There’s not a lot to say about how terrible the Lakers have been (earning the most losses in franchise history the other night) and don’t have a lot to show for their season. However, Ryan Kelly is one silver lining for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kelly’s minutes have fluctuated this year with the plethora of different players coming in and out of the L.A. rotation this year but he’s been solid during his time on the floor. He’s fourth among rookies in three-point shooting, eighth in overall scoring and field goal percentage and second in free throw shooting. Like his time at Duke, Kelly is a scorer and a shooter.

There’s no telling what Kelly’s future holds with the Lakers but he’s been a great contributor to a bad team this year and should not be overlooked for All-Rookie honors.
