April 4, 2014: At Atlanta Hawks, 117-98

Despite all of these previous loses, a victory against the Atlanta Hawks would have put Cleveland just one game outside of the playoffs.  Instead, the Cavaliers barely made an appearance on a night that saw Atlanta jump out to a 16 point lead after the first quarter, and never look back as they went on to sweep the season series.  Three loses to Atlanta, and now a mere four games outside of the playoffs.

On a night that defined their season, the Cavaliers failed to meet anyone’s expectations…including their own.
