January 30, 2014: vs. New York Knicks, 117-86

The New York Knicks are currently sitting just ahead of Cleveland in the Eastern Conference standings, and this was the same at the end of January.  With a record of 18-27, the Knicks had a small two game lead over the Cavaliers and were riding a small three game winning streak when the arrived in Cleveland.

It wasn’t a surprise to see Carmelo Anthony put up 29 points, but allowing Tim Hardaway Jr. to do the same (a career high in scoring for Hardaway) on 65% shooting is a completely different matter.  Dion Waiters and C.J. Miles were the only Cavaliers to shoot above 40% as the the Knicks went on to a 31 point victory.
