Dwight is out for at least the next 10 days with a sprained ankle but he still deserves mention in this week’s player ranking, because he’s still an elite presence on the court for the Rockets. Houston looks like they have the fourth spot out West all wrapped up, which will give them home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Howard hasn’t posted 20/10 numbers since his last season with Orlando, but he’s still an elite big man in the NBA with averages of 18.5 points and 12.3 rebounds per night. He’s not the offensive leader on this team so it’s expected that his numbers would go down, but Dwight is still an amazing talent — and still only 28!
