New York Knicks 89, GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 84
Stephen Curry hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 2:42 left, but missed his final two shots and had a turnover as the Knicks were able to pull out a big road win to pull to within a game of the idle Hawks for the final playoff spot in the East. New York put itself in position to win with a huge second quarter, during which the Knicks outscored the Warriors 34-12. J.R. Smith scored 21 points for New York, Carmelo Anthony added 19, Amar’e Stoudemire finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds and Tim Hardaway Jr. tossed in 15 points in one of his dad’s old haunts. Curry paced the Warriors with 32 points, Klay Thompson added 15, Jermaine O’Neal had 12 rebounds and Draymond Green logged three steals.

Chicago Bulls 107, BOSTON CELTICS 102
D.J. Augustin hit a 3-pointer with 2:01 remaining to break a tie and went 6-for-6 at the foul line down the stretch to lead the Bulls past the pesky Celtics. Augustin finished with a career-high 33 points for Chicago. Jimmy Butler had 15 points and three steals and Joakim Noah went for 13 points and 13 assists. Rajon Rondo went for 17 points and 11 assists, Jared Sullinger had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Jeff Green also scored 16 points. Jerryd Bayless notched 12 points and three steals.
