For all the talk of the big name guys at the top of this Draft class, Dario Saric could yet be the guy to go and outperform them all. A relative unknown due to his play in Europe, Saric has a lot of skills that make him an NBA ready weapon.

At 6’10”, Saric is power forward sized, yet due to his varied skill set many are projecting him to play regularly at small forward in the NBA. The 19-year-old Croatian is first and foremost a playmaker. He has the distinct ability to make things happen, whether thats banging bodies to score points in the paint, boxing out on the glass or dishing to his teammates for easy buckets.

One particular skill that will make him an intriguing prospect for NBA scouts is his work on the fastbreak. A strong rebounder, Saric likes to grab rebounds and take the ball from coast to coast to provide his team with easy buckets. This could make him an ideal fit for the Pistons, as Saric running a fastbreak alongside Josh Smith would likely be one of the most explosive, and largest, counter punch threats in the league.
