Daily NBA Fix 3-15-14: Streaking Is All The Rage

Denver Nuggets 111, MIAMI HEAT 107
The Nuggets outscored the Heat 65-41 in the middle two quarters and hung on down the stretch to hand Miami back-to-back home losses for the first time since 2011. The Heat have now lost five of their last six and now trail Indiana in the Eastern Conference by three games. Kenneth Faried had 24 points, 10 rebounds and three steals for Denver and Darrell Arthur added 18 points and four steals. Ty Lawson also had four steals to go with nine assists. Ray Allen scored a season-high 22 points for the Heat, LeBron James added 21, Dwyane Wade tossed in 19 and Mario Chalmers had 16.
Phoenix Suns 87, BOSTON CELTICS 80
The Suns scored 58 points in the final three quarters but Boston shot a season-low 30.9 percent from the floor. Phoenix closed the game on a 7-0 run to get the win. Goran Dragic paced the Suns with 20 points, Eric Bledsoe had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Markieff Morris scored 15 points. P.J. Tucker added 11 points, 10 boards and five steals. Kris Humphries had 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Celtics, Chris Johnson also scored 11 points and Kelly Olynyk grabbed 10 boards.
