After months of unwarranted criticism, Andrew Wiggins of the Kansas Jayhawks erupted in a major way during a surprising 92-86 loss at the West Virginia Mountaineers. It was a much-needed recovery after Wiggins scored just nine points against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Wiggins shot 12-of-18 from the field, 2-of-5 from three-point range and 15-of-18 from the free throw line for a career-high 41 points. Quietly, Wiggins also added eight rebounds, two assists, five steals and four blocks for one of the most outstanding individual performances in recent history.

It hasn’t been the best season, but Wiggins certainly found a way to turn heads against West Virginia.
