The Lakers win over the Thunder was the first time the worst team in a conference beat the best team in that conference in March or later since the Chicago Bulls beat the Philadelphia 76ers on April 18, 2001 … Jodie Meeks became the first Laker guard other than Kobe Bryant to score 40 points in a game since Nick Van Exel scored 40 against Seattle on Feb. 20, 1995. Between Van Exel’s 40-point game and Meeks’ 42 points on Sunday, Bryant has scored at least 40 points in a game 120 times … Miami’s 45.3 effective field goal percentage against the Bulls Sunday was its lowest in a game this season … LeBron James did not attempt a free throw in a game for the first time since Dec. 2, 2009 … Anthony Davis had his 22nd game this season with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds … Rajon Rondo’s 18 assists gave him 4,101 for his career, moving him past Bill Russell into fifth place on Boston’s all-time list … Texas native LaMarcus Aldridge ran his streak of consecutive games with at least 20 points at Houston to 12 … Brooklyn had 14 steals and forced 25 turnovers.
