After a prime-time blowout of the Miami Heat on Thursday, the Spurs struggled to put the Magic away in this one. Orlando was still within four with seven minutes left before San Antonio pulled away, stretching the lead to 10 with 2:34 left on a three-point play by Manu Ginobili. Tony Parker scored 30 points for the Spurs, Ginobili added 24, Kawhi Leonard tossed in 17 and Tim Duncan notched 11 points and 10 rebounds. Tobias Harris led the Magic with 23 points, Nikola Vukevic had 19 points and 13 rebounds, Arron Afflalo scored 17 points and Maurice Harkless logged 12 points and 10 boards.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 111, Charlotte Bobcats 89
Memphis won its sixth straight at home, pulling away from Charlotte in the second half to get to within a half-game of the eighth-place Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference playoff chase. The Grizzlies put the game away with a big third quarter, outscoring the Bobcats 27-17 to open an 18-point lead heading into the fourth period. Mike Conley scored 20 points for Memphis, Zach Randolph added 16 and Kosta Koufos came off the bench for 12 points and 10 rebounds in just 19 minutes. Al Jefferson had 17 points for Charlotte and Chris Douglas-Roberts added 15.
