MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES 114, Detroit Pistons 101
The Timberwolves led by as much as 31 points in the second half and eased to a win over the Pistons, riding a 39-point first quarter. Kevin Love had 28 points and 14 rebounds for Minnesota, Kevin Martin tossed in 24 points and Nikola Pekovic scored 17. Greg Monroe finished with 20 points and 15 rebounds for Detroit while Brandon Jennings and Will Bynum each notched 17 points.

NEW YORK KNICKS 108, Utah Jazz 81
The Knicks put up 39 points and didn’t turn the ball over in the first quarter and had an easy night while blowing out the Jazz. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 29 points, J.R. Smith added 17 and Tyson Chandler finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks scored 18 points each for Utah.
