Who? If you don’t watch regularly you might behind on the DeRozan train. He’s only 24 years old and when the Raps decided to move star small forward Rudy Gay, DeRozan took it upon himself to step up and be the team’s go-to scorer. Along with Lowry they make up a potent back court offensively and DeMar’s all-around game has really blossomed this year as well.

He is posting career highs in points (22.7), rebounds (4.5), assists (3.9), and 3-point percentage (29.9). The last stat mentioned is still a huge weakness for DeMar because though he’s having a career year from deep 29.9 percent is nowhere near respectable for a top tier shooting guard. The main area of growth has been his ability to get teammates involved and share the ball as his previous career high for assists was only 2.5 per game.

This past week in three games DeMar averaged 33 points, six assists and four rebounds!
