Rajon Rondo had a game-tying 3-pointer wiped out after an officials’ review with less than three minutes to go in the fourth quarter and the Pacers came from behind to beat the Celtics. Paul George paced Indiana with 25 points, Evan Turner added 17, Lance Stephenson scored 16 and Roy Hibbert tossed in 15. Jeff Green had 27 points to lead the Celtics, Kris Humphries logged 17 points and 10 rebounds, Brandon Bass scored 16 points and Rondo had 12 points and 11 assists.
HOUSTON ROCKETS 118, Detroit Pistons 110
Houston rocketed out of the gate, scoring 41 first-quarter points while opening a 23-point halftime lead, then held off the Pistons down the stretch. Terrence Jones had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets, James Harden finished with 20 points and 12 assists, Patrick Beverley scored 19 points, Dwight Howard added 17 and Omri Casspi tossed in 16 points in just 15 minutes. Rodney Stuckey led Detroit with 23 points, Josh Smith added 21, Andre Drummond checked in with 16 points and 17 rebounds and Greg Monroe also had a double-double with 10 points and 14 boards.
