Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Grade: C

Watching Michael Kidd-Gilchrist might be the most frustrating thing for Bobcat fans this year. After each and every game, MKG inches closer to the “bust” label. Additionally, watching Anthony Davis play like a top 10 player in league has fans thinking “what if.” Kidd-Gilchrist’s offensive game has been abysmal at best. No one was expecting MKG to shot lights out in year two, but he hasn’t even shown improvement. Despite his offense woes, the former Kentucky Wildcat has been the anchor of fifth-ranked Bobcat defense. In 37 games this year MKG has recorded a defensive wins shared of 1.3 compared to his 1.0 in 78 games during his rookie campaign.
