TORONTO RAPTORS 98, Cleveland Cavaliers 91
The Raptors pulled away from Cleveland in the third quarter and the Cavaliers’ season-high six-game winning streak appeared not to make it through Customs. Terrence Ross scored 20 points for Toronto, which stood pat at the deadline, and Jonas Valanciunas added 18. Luol Deng—still a Cavalier—scored 21 points and had 11 rebounds and Kyrie Irving added 17 points. Spencer Hawes was 3-for-10 and had seven points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes in his debut for Cleveland.

Dallas Mavericks 124, PHILADELPHIA 76ERS 112
Dallas stormed to an 18-point first quarter lead and then hung on to extend Philadelphia’s losing streak to 10 games. The 76ers, gutted by trades and with the new faces not yet available, dressed only eight players and started Arnett Moultrie and Elliot Williams in place of the departed Spencer Hawes and Evan Turner. Dirk Nowitzki paced the Mavericks with 25 points, Shawn Marion had 22 and DeJuan Blair had 18 in just 16 minutes off the bench. Jose Calderon logged 10 assists. Thaddeus Young had 30 points, 13 rebounds and seven steals for Philadelphia, Michael Carter-Williams added 25 points and Tony Wroten scored 21.
