Conclusion

Part 1 of my All-Star break grades clearly shows that the Bobcats have no depth. I didn’t give a grade out higher than a C in the first part of progress report. The Bobcats are heavily reliant on three to five players, thus the end of their bench rarely sees the court. It will be interesting to see how coach Steve Clifford manages the minutes of his youngsters as the season goes on. Are Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ready to take on the toll? Will their legs wear down? Will Clifford expand his rotation? We will see.
