1. Kirk Hinrich and Taj Gibson for Ben Gordon

ESPN Trade Machine

In my first proposed trade former Sixth Man of the Year Ben Gordon goes back to where his career started: Chicago. Why would the Bulls do this trade? Ben Gordon is an expiring contract and with Gibson and Hinrich off the books they will be able to sign a max player this off season. Why would the Bobcats do this? Gibson has been a consistently above average frontcourt player, and at only 28 years old he would blend in with the young roster in Charlotte. Lastly, Hinrich is a proven leader and he can help mentor Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
