Dallas Mavericks 102, BOSTON CELTICS 91
Dallas extended its winning streak to a season-high five games and got 10 games over .500 for the first time this season. The Mavs took control of a close game with a big third-quarter, outscoring Boston 28-18 to take a 72-56 lead at the quarter break. Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points for the Mavericks and Jose Calderon added 18. Samuel Dalembert grabbed 11 rebounds and Shawn Marion had a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards. Jeff Green scored 18 points and had three steals for the Celtics while Rajon Rondo logged 15 points and 12 assists. Jared Sullinger went for 11 points and 12 rebounds.

BROOKLYN NETS 93, New Orleans Pelicans 81
The Nets allowed just 28 points while taking a 51-28 halftime lead and held off the Pelicans down the stretch after New Orleans put up 32 in the third quarter to get back into the game. Mason Plumlee came off the Brooklyn bench for a career-high 22 points, matched his career best with 13 rebounds and also had three steals. Mirza Teletovic added 13 points and 11 boards as the Nets got just 34 points from its starting five. Anthony Davis had 24 points and three steals for the Pelicans while Brian Roberts grabbed four steals.
