Dwight Howard hit three big free throws in the final seconds and the Rockets were able to hold off the pesky Bucks.

Howard had 27 points and 13 rebounds for the Rockets, while James Harden tossed in 22 points. Jeremy Lin added 18 points off the bench and Patrick Beverley logged 15 points and three blocked shots. Brandon Knight led the Bucks with 23 points, Khris Middleton added 20, Nate Wolters scored a career-high 19 and John Henson posted 14 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots. Larry Sanders played just four minutes after taking an inadvertent elbow to the eye from Harden.

Goran Dragic went for a career-high 34 points—13 in the final seven minutes—as the Suns pulled away from the injury-depleted Warriors, who played without frontcourt starters David Lee and Andrew Bogut.

Dragic also had 10 assists. Gerald Green added 25 points while P.J. Tucker finished with 16 points, 15 rebounds and four steals. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 28 points, Harrison Barnes added 23 and Klay Thompson scored 17.
