NBA: Player Rankings – Week 14
8. Stephen Curry (PG, Golden State Warriors)
It’s become painfully obvious that the Warriors are only going to go as far this season as Curry takes them. To that end, he must take care of the ball along the way. When Curry keeps his turnovers down and his shot attempts up (as he did in Sunday’s win over Portland — 38 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, two turnovers) Golden State thrives. It’s when he gets sloppy with the ball (as he did in Tuesday’s loss to Washington — 23 points, six turnovers and four assists) that the Warriors come undone. Curry and the Warriors are too deep and talented to let carelessness derail their season.
