Team of the Week

Phoenix Suns
The team that many thought would be competing for ping pong balls is currently the sixth seed in the Western Conference and has won five straight games overall, including a 3-0 week last week.

The Suns won at Milwaukee (OK, so who doesn’t … besides the Knicks, anyway) and then shocked the NBA by handing Indiana just its second home-court loss. They finished the week by beating the Bobcats.

Goran Dragic led the team in scoring in all three games, putting up 30, 28 and 25, while getting 15.7 a game from Marcus Morris, 14.7 a game from Gerald Green and 13.7 a night from Markieff Morris—that would be almost 30 a game for the Morrii, which isn’t bad.

Throw in 44.3 percent shooting from 3-point range as a team and six rebounds a night in 18.3 minutes per game from rookie Alex Len and you have a pretty good week for Phoenix.
