Best of the Week-Rookies

1. Ryan Kelly, Los Angeles Lakers
Dude could hardly get off the bench for three months and now he’s on this list two weeks in a row—and at the top of it this time around. In two games, Kelly averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks and was a 35.3 percent shooting, 16.7 percent from deep. He was also 10-for-11 at the foul line.

2. Tim Hardaway Jr., New York Knicks
Hardaway’s getting more minutes and rewarding Mike Woodson for his faith in the kid. Hardaway averaged 17.3 points and one steal while shooting 49 percent overall and 41.4 percent from long range.

3. Nick Calathes, Memphis Grizzlies
Say hello to a new face on this list. Calathes got some additional minutes with Mike Conley out with an ankle sprain and took advantage. He averaged 8.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals on 48.6 percent shooting for the week, including 45.5 percent from distance.
