DENVER NUGGETS 109, Indiana Pacers 96
Wilson Chandler scored a season-high 25 points and the Nuggets snapped a three-game losing streak, making it increasingly unlikely the Pacers will break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ record of 72-10. Indiana would have to win its final 39 games to break the mark, so … yeah. The Nuggets held the Pacers to 36 points while opening up a 19-point halftime lead, then weathered the storm as Indiana poured in 40 in the third period. Timofey Mozgov and Nate Robinson each scored 15 points off the bench for Denver, J.J. Hickson grabbed 13 rebounds and Ty Lawson notched 10 assists. Lance Stephenson had 23 points and 10 boards for the Pacers, Paul George went for 18 points and 11 rebounds but was just 6-for-18 and David West had 16 points on 6-of-20 shooting.

Atlanta Hawks 112, MILWAUKEE BUCKS 87
The Hawks lost by 26 the previous night at home to the Spurs and took it out on the Bucks in frigid Milwaukee. Paul Millsap scored 14 of his 20 points during a 24-5 run that spanned halftime and put the game hopelessly out of reach for the hapless Bucks. Louis Williams added 18 points for Atlanta. Brandon Knight had 27 points for Milwaukee, while Ersan Ilyasova had 13 boards and 11 points and John Henson went for 10 points and 10 rebounds. It was the Hawks’ first meeting against former coach Larry Drew, who was not retained last offseason.
