Bounce Back Win:

Until the Warriors got things back on track with a road win over the New Orleans Pelicans, that is. Anthony Davis came to play, finishing with 31 points and 17 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for the Pellies, who are still missing Ryan Anderson and Jrue Holiday. The Warriors didn’t play particularly well, but used a strong defensive third quarter to take the lead and they never looked back.

Curry led the way with 28 points, eight assists and six rebounds and David Lee had 22 points, eight rebounds and two blocks. The Warriors only shot 6-for-22 from 3-point range, but they found a way to win. Obviously a win over the injury-decimated Pelicans isn’t terribly impressive, but the game was on the road, the Brow meant business and the Warriors were reeling. It would have been very each to keel over and drop another game, but the Warriors’ bounce back win, even against a subpar team, is a good indicator about this team’s intentions this season.
