The next two locations are somewhat of a dying art in the NBA. Many feel like the mid-range game is worthless, as you should either take a 3-pointer and go for the extra points, or continue working towards the bucket where you can get a better look. With shooting percentages like these, I guess I don’t blame them. This is a tough location, though — how do you get an open jumper here? Unless you’re a big man standing near the baseline, you’re probably taking a contested shot.
