Last Week: 0-4
Previous Ranking: 24
Vucevic Concussed: Center Nikola Vucevic did not play in Portland Wednesday night after he suffered a concussion, his second in less than a year. Under NBA rules, Vucevic cannot return to action until passing several tests. “I think the protocol is pretty thorough,” coach Jacque Vaughn told the Orlando Sentinel. “Indeed, like always, we want our guys to be comfortable and 100 percent when they get back on the floor. So that will be the motive with any decision that we have.” The Magic are now 0-7 this year without Vucevic in the lineup.
The Week That Was: The Magic lost in overtime at Cleveland 87-81 on Thursday, lost to the Heat 110-94 on Saturday, lost to the Clippers in Los Angeles 101-81 on Monday and lost at Portland 110-94 on Wednesday.
