Kidd-Gilchrist Could Be Back Next Week: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, out more than a month with a broken hand, could be back as soon as next week, according to the Charlotte Observer. Coach Steve Clifford said, “Since it’s his left hand, he’s still shooting every day and he’s done a great job with his conditioning. So to me once he practices, he can play. I’m hoping next week.” The Bobcats have a -3.6 net PER at small forward this season (per 82games.com) and Kidd-Gilchrist is a significant upgrade over journeymen veterans Chris Douglas-Roberts and Anthony Tolliver.
