Kidd Has A Supporter Out West: Golden State coach Mark Jackson lent his support to Nets coach Jason Kidd over the recent demotion of assistant coach Lawrence Frank. “I cannot speak about Jason Kidd and Lawrence Frank because I do not know [all the details],” Jackson told ESPNNewYork.com. “But everybody has to know who’s in charge. And that’s the head coach. He’s the guy calling the shots. I have never seen any of The Pips try to lead. That’s Gladys’ role. Let Gladys be Gladys.” Not entirely sure how cool Kidd is with being compared to Gladys Knight, but Jackson still thought Kidd was right.
