7. DeMarcus Cousins (C, Sacramento Kings)

Dec 29, 2013; San Antonio, TX, USA; Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins (15) drives to the basket as San Antonio Spurs forward Tiago Splitter (22) defends during the second half at the AT

DeMarcus Cousins has definitely emerged as the league’s best center this season. This season Cousins has averaged 22.9 points and 11.2 rebounds per game and has drastically improved his game, not to mention his mental game.  His play alone has kept the Kings in games that they had no business being in. He leads his team in points, rebounds, steals and blocks per game. With the addition of Rudy Gay and the great play of Isaiah Thomas, the Kings have surrounded players around Cousins in order to build for the future.  He has some of the best post moves in the league for a big man and has even worked on developing an outside jump shot. Cousins is, by far, the best center in the game this year, but Howard is approaching very quickly.
