To the delight of the Houston Rockets, Dwight Howard has had a great season and improving at a very acceptable rate. Howard is averaging 17.9 points and 13.3 rebounds per game this season while averaging a PER of 22.26, which ranks fourth best among centers. The post moves Howard has been learning must have clicked in as of late as he has displayed a plethora of low post moves. He has not quite mastered them but his progression has definitely been strong. If Howard commits to mastering these moves given to him, the potential for the Rockets in the postseason is astronomical. Howard’s post moves combined with James Harden’s outside scoring ability could present a serious problem for any opposing team.
