Kings and Zebras

Kings

Isaiah Thomas has been great over the past three games, averaging 23.3 points and 8.3 assists. He should be talked about with the other top point guards in the game today.

But DeMarcus Cousins played even better over the last three games. He averaged 26.6 points and 15 rebounds, more evidence he should be an All-Star.

I know Ben McLemore is only a rookie, but he was supposed to be the scorer coming out of the draft. However, he has been struggling lately averaging 3.3 points in 26 minutes per game over the past three games.

Finally getting a few minutes over the past three games, Jimmer Fredette did not take full advantage of it. He got about 12 minutes per game but in only two of the games he shot the ball more than three times. Fredette is a scorer and when he gets time needs to think that way, this is how he can get more time.

The Week Ahead

The Sacramento Kings Texas two-step continues with a trip to Houston to face the Rockets. Then the Kings have a five-game home stand starting with the Philadelphia 76ers and Charlotte Bobcats. It will be interesting to see how the Kings do during the home stand with them facing four Eastern Conference teams.
