No. 5: Julius Randle, Kentucky, F

The Julius Randle hype-train has started to tail off recently. But the NBA prospect remains just that: an NBA prospect. He’s drawn comparisons to Zach Randolph, which isn’t too wide of the mark. Obviously he’s a more athletic Z-Bo, which makes for a frightening prospect. He looks like a man next to boys at the college level and will be salivating about getting into the pros.

He’s a can’t-fail prospect. I can’t see him going to any team and not playing well.

Imagine a frontcourt of Randle and Noel. Randle working the offensive end while Noel locks down the paint at the other end. The possibilities are endless.
