SACRAMENTO KINGS 108, Miami Heat 103 (OT)
All About The Other Big Three—DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay and Isaiah Thomas combined for 75 points and the Kings snapped a 10-game losing streak to the Heat with an overtime victory. Sacramento trailed by 17 in the first quarter before rallying and not even LeBron James’ 33 points—including three ridiculous 3-pointers in overtime—could save the champs. Cousins had 27 points and 17 boards, Thomas went for 22 points and 11 assists and Gay scored 26 on 11-of-19 shooting (hooray, efficiency!)
UTAH JAZZ 105, Los Angeles Lakers 103
Utah Gets A Big Favors—Gordon Hayward missed a potential go-ahead layup, but Derrick Favors was there for the putback slam with 2.1 seconds left and the Jazz topped the Lakers, who were without Pau Gasol again because of an upper respiratory infection. Hayward had 24 points and Favors had 18 to go with 14 boards. Nick Young led L.A. with 21 points and Chris Kaman (yes, Chris Kaman) had 19, but only four in the second half, to go with 10 rebounds.
