Beal The Real Loss—The Wizards might have lost the battle and the war as guard Bradley Beal went down with an apparent knee injury late in a blowout and had to be carried off the floor. Kevin Love was, well, Kevin Love, with 25 points and 11 rebounds for his NBA-best 26th double-double, Nikola Pekovic went for 18 points and 10 boards and Jose Barea came off the bench to score 17 points as Minnesota rang up 39 in the second period to blow it open. John Wall had 26 for the Wizards and Beal had 14 before he was hurt.

Evans ‘Rekes Havoc—Tyreke Evans had 19 points and 10 assists and the Pelicans blew out Denver with six players reaching double figures. Ryan Anderson added 16 points and 10 boards and Anthony Davis blocked four shots while scoring 17 points. Denver got 22 points from Wilson Chandler and 14 points and 12 dimes from Ty Lawson, but the Nuggets fell behind early and then just sort of stayed there.
