Christmas Day basketball is all about the league’s best teams competing and giving fans all around the world the opportunity to see great players and great teams they will see again come playoff time. Sadly, the Knicks do not fall into this category. It has been a sorrow filled season for the Knicks as they sit at 9-18 and possibly the biggest disappointment in the league next to their intracity rivals. The Thunder on the other hand are yet again one of the best teams in a stacked Western Conference. The Thunder have been on a tear as of late, winning nine of their last 10 and hold a 12-2 record on the road. Will this be the game that pulls the Knicks out of the dark and troubled pits of misery? Or will the Knicks be yet again routed by a team who possesses two of the game’s best offensive weapons? Either way it will surely and entertaining matchup filled with fierce crossovers, ferocious dunks and thunderous rejections. Sit back and enjoy game No. 2.
