Best of the Worst

These players recorded the lowest player efficiency ratings of the week while averaging at least 25 minutes a game.

1. James Anderson, Philadelphia 76ers (-1.79 PER)

The Philadelphia 76ers won one of two games this week … no thanks to James Anderson, who scored four points and had six rebounds in those two games—total—while averaging 25.5 minutes a game.

He was just 1-for-10 from the floor and missed all five of his 3-point attempts.

2. Corey Brewer, Minnesota Timberwolves (1.27 PER)

Corey Brewer averaged 28 minutes a game for 1-2 Minnesota last week and produced 4.7 points and one steal per game.

He did it while shooting 3-for-19 (15.8 percent) overall and 1-for-8 (12.5 percent) from 3-point range. No word on whether they stopped the game to present him the long ball that actually went through the rim.

3. Iman Shumpert, New York Knicks (3.19 PER)

Iman Shumpert played 25.3 minutes per game in three contests for the Knicks, who were 2-1 despite his best efforts. Shumpert averaged four points, 5.3 rebounds and one steal a game.

He was 5-for-19 (26.3 percent) overall and 1-for-7 (14.3 percent) from deep.
