Although Andrew Bynum’s 0-for-11 deserves this award, it was Jason Thompson who played 26:54, making none of his four attempts. Thompson blocked three shots, but his team lost and he was a big part of that.
Clean and Sober Award (most minutes without taking a shot)
Sergey Karasev of the Cleveland Cavaliers played 8:03 and didn’t attempt a single shot, which was enough to earn himself the Clean and Sober award for the night. He secured one rebound and dished out an assist in his team’s loss.
Iron Man Award (most minutes played)
We’re going old school for this one, with LeBron James playing 45:38, in large part because Dwyane Wade was out. The man is a cyborg and it’s hard to believe he used to do this on a much more regular basis. As it was, his 38-8-6-2 line is something we’ve come to expect.
