For yet another week, I continue to give the edge to Kevin Love in the MVP department. For a brief moment I considered moving him down the list, but then he scored 45 points and collected 19 rebounds in an overtime loss against the Clippers on Sunday night. This season Love has averaged 25.2 points, 13.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while posting a PER of 27.19 which ranks fifth in the league. Love represents a player that can do it all as he is extremely proficient in scoring and rebounding, as well as being above average in passing while averaging 4.3 assists per game. He can score in the paint and also step out beyond the arc and knock down a jumper anywhere on the floor. Kevin Love has put in all the work and has put up the numbers this season to be named the No. 1 player in the league.
