Paul George is the complete basketball player. Paul George will not be denied this season as he has led the Pacers to the best record in the Eastern Conference and tied for the best record in the Eastern Conference at 22-5. The Pacers are rolling as of late and George, while not the sole reason of their success, is certainly the main cause of their great season. So far, George has averaged 23.8 points, 3.6 assists and 6 rebounds per game while posting a PER of 23.47 which ranks 10th in the league. Along to his excellent offensive ability, George is one of the best all-around defenders in the Association. His ability to lock down high-profile players and contain their production is something that will prove to be extremely valuable come playoff time. The Pacers, with George and other defensive juggernauts, pose a very serious threat to the Miami Heat in the East and anyone that prevails in the Western Conference. The possibility of the Pacers finally getting a ring is very real.
