Curry Making A Splash:

Not much of the Warriors’ recent struggles can be pinned on Stephen Curry, given that he’s having one of the best stretches of his NBA career. Despite Golden State sporting a mediocre 6-5 record this month, Curry is averaging 28.1 points, 10.1 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game in December. He’s also shooting 47 percent from the floor, 40 percent from 3-point range and 89 percent from the free throw line. Other than the turnovers (an irresponsible 4.7 per game), Curry has been absolutely terrific.

Curry has scored 30 or more in five of the Warriors’ last 11 games. He’s tallied 10 or more assists in six of those games, including two in which he matched his career-best with 15 dimes. He has the eighth highest player efficiency rating in the league at 24.5. Despite the turnover problems, Steph has been doing his part while playing some of the finest basketball of his career. And to think he didn’t even make the All-Star team last year.
