It pains me to say it, but maybe the Minnesota Timberwolves are better off with Ricky Rubio not shooting much. He went 0-f0r-4 to lay the Goose Egg for the night, in 38:40 of play. He did have 12 assists, though.

Clean and Sober Award (most minutes without taking a shot)

We only had one player not attempt a shot last night and surprisingly, it was Steve Novak. He’s only in the league to shoot! But, to his defense, he did play just 16 seconds, so…even a true gunner has trouble getting a shot up that quickly.

Iron Man Award (most minutes played)

Nikola Pekovic is one the most fitting Iron Man winners that we’ve had, considering it looks like he’s actually made of iron. The Bond villain played 46:09 in an overtime loss, scoring 34 points with 14 rebounds.
