Board Bludgeoning – The Grizzlies absolutely pounded the Knicks on the glass, en route to what should have been a much easier victory. Memphis outrebounded New York by an astounding 56-29 margin, including outscoring them 60-28 in the paint. Zach Randolph led the way with 25 points and 15 rebounds. The Knicks got 30 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks from Carmelo Anthony, but it wasn’t anywhere near enough.

Washington Wizards 106, BOSTON CELTICS 99

Lead Squandered – The problem with not having a superstar to go to is the inability to hold leads when the team goes cold. Such was the case Saturday afternoon, as the Wizards overcame an 18-point deficit behind John Wall’s 20 points, nine rebounds and six steals. Trevor Ariza led the team with 27 points and eight rebounds. The Celtics got 26 from Avery Bradley, with 21 of those in the second half.
