Today is a very special day. We’ve got another double winner, but that’s not why it’s special. Those of you who know me know that I like Kendrick Perkins as a person. I just think he’s got no place on the offensive end of a basketball court. Today is special because he scored zero points in 20:47, which leads us to…

Clean and Sober Award (most minutes without taking a shot)

Perkins took my advice and did not take a shot! I poke fun at Kendrick a lot and I can’t talk enough about how nice a guy he is off the court, but this is what his role should be. Rebound, defend and don’t clog the lane on offense. 20:47 without a shot on Thursday. Let’s keep that streak going.

Iron Man Award (most minutes played)

If you guessed Tony Snell, you should have used your mental capacity to play the lottery. Snell played 41:09 for an injury-depleted Bulls team that lost in Oklahoma City. Snell jacked up 11 3-pointers after (not) allegedly watching J.R. Smith film from Wednesday night.
