Give it up for our Goose Egg winner, Alan Anderson! He (and the Brooklyn Nets) laid an egg in a home loss against the Washington Wizards. Anderson secured one rebounds and turned the ball over once in his 19:10 of play. Good job, good effort.
Clean and Sober Award (most minutes without taking a shot)
Aaron Gray had a special kind of suck on Wednesday night for his new team, the Sacramento Kings. In his 5:54, he didn’t attempt a shot and apparently he didn’t attempt to do a whole lot else either. He did turn the ball over once and he did commit four personal fouls. Like I said, a special kind of bad.
Iron Man Award (most minutes played)
The New York Knicks won the game and there was a ton of confusion, but Carmelo Anthony did his thing (again), playing a whopping 55:27 in an overtime win. Melo scored 29 with nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks.
