Sully The Story – Jared Sullinger scored 24 points with 11 rebounds and five assists to carry the Celtics (12-14) to a quality home win. Avery Bradley scored 19, with Jordan Crawford adding 15. The Celtics defense held the Wolves (12-13) to just 37.8 percent shooting. Minnesota got 27 points and 14 rebounds from Kevin Love, but he and Ricky Rubio combined to shoot just 11-of-38 from the floor.
BROOKLYN NETS 130, Philadelphia 76ers 94
No Ordinary Joe – 29 points in a game is impressive, but in a quarter? Amazing. Joe Johnson did just that, scoring 29 in the third quarter en route to 37 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Nets (9-15). Johnson shot 10-of-14 from the 3-point line, with Deron Williams chipping in with 13 assists. Andray Blatche added 20 off the bench. The Sixers (7-19) got 17 from James Anderson and 14 from Thaddeus Young.
