I still give the slight edge to Kevin Love over LeBron in the race for MVP this season. While LeBron has, as usual, dominated the basketball world, he has not shown anything above what he usually does that would make me consider him for yet another MVP. This season Love has averaged 24.7 points, 13.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while posting a PER of 27.17 which ranks sixth in the league. Love represents a player that can do it all as he is extremely proficient in scoring and rebounding, as well as being above average in passing while averaging 4.3 assists per game. He can score in the paint and also step out beyond the arc and knock down a jumper anywhere on the floor. Kevin Love has put in all the work and put up the numbers this season to be named the No. 1 player in the league.
